For Ashely and James’ engagement session, we met at Ashley’s family home in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, where the couple will be married in several weeks time. The place is idyllic– a beautiful property on a lake that is tucked away in the woods. Ashley and James are both teachers in Maine but come to the family home whenever they have a vacation. James even proposed to Ashley there. I loved spending the afternoon with this delightful and sarcastic pair and their adorable pooch, Tuque. After wandering about the beautiful countryside, we ended the evening with a gin and tonic on the lawn, which is one of their favorite evening rituals.
