When Maria and Patrick approached me about documenting their wedding, I was extremely excited. They had chosen the Arlington Town Hall for their ceremony and reception, and I have been wanting to document a celebration there for some time because it is a beautiful space that is literally 4 blocks from my home! I had the pleasure of spending an evening with them in Boston for their engagement session and loved how graceful they both are in front of the camera. The wedding day was no different.
My favorite memory from the event was when Maria saw Patrick for the first time. She approached him and was so overwhelmed with emotion, she could barely hold back the tears. Other great moments included the ceremony procession which was serenaded by a delightful a capella group, a ring bearer with no ring (after some confusion and a frisking of the little lad, the mother of the groom bustled off to find the rings inside the hall while the ceremony paused and everyone hopefully awaited her return), and an impromptu vocal performance by the father of the groom during the reception.
